Stopped in for gyros and they were super tasty. The baklava was very excellent as well. The staff was helpful and answered a few questions. For instance, have you always wondered how to pronounce gyro? Wonder no longer, you can pronounce it jyro or hero. We'll be back for my gyros. They were just so good here.
I was attracted to this place by their already outstanding reviews. They deserve many more! The food is fresh, made to order and delishish. I did not order ahead so they advised me it would be 20-30 so I decided to wait in my car. The sweet girl came outside and brought my food when it was ready. My new go to Greek! 5 stars!
Delish & plentiful sandwiches! Just the right amount of spicing and yummy sauces! Would highly recommend their food in desserts. Nice people too!
Take it from this Greek, the food is excellent and so is the service, plus they sell the desserts and other Greek products on site! Opa!!
Best Greek salad with grilled chicken. Consistently wonderful!
Good Greek food. Staff is always cheerful and pleasant.
Nice cozy little Greek restaurant serving yummy, fresh Gyros and other Greek dishes. My wife had the Falafel Gyro and I had the more traditional lamb and beef gyro. Both were delicious served by a friendly staff. The Greek fries were a nice side as The blue checkered table cloth tops with an amusing mural of a Greek island adds coziness to the atmosphere. A bit pricey for lunch, but the sandwiches are fairly large. We will defiinitely be returning.
Delicious food, friendly service. We will definately go back.
Wonderful friendly place, come for the gyro and am never sorry!
Great food and homie feel. Prices are decent and serving size awesome. Ingredients felt fresh. Get their lemon soda, Lous, with anything you buy. Would definitely come back again.
Amazing food and great service. A small place so usually not very busy.
Five star food. Gave four stars for price. $12.50 for falafel in a pita and fries. Would be a 15/16 dollar lunch if I wanted a drink.
Everything I have ever eaten here is fantastic!! The falafael burger and pita is great!
Amazing Greek food. We picked up a chicken souvlaki and a pork souvlaki sandwich; both were really good! We ordered a side of rice pilaf and it was bland, I wouldn't recommend it. The baklava was the best I've had. We've tried plenty of bakeries and none have come close.People working there (husband and wife) were both super friendly and nice. We will definitely be back!
Small place but with great authentic Greek food and service was very good as well
Waited half an hour for 1 gyro platter. Gyro was very salty, tiny container of tzaziki and a very small salad for $15, 5 wedges of baked potato and a frappe which was really just an iced coffee total cost $25. The attitude from staff was the last straw. Kind of like, here’s your food, get lost. These are not happy people. It seemed we were imposing on her to give her our credit card number over the phone. The giro meat appeared very dried out and as I said, was extremely salty and greasy. This was a big disappointment. We have gone here many times over the years but lately it’s getting worse every time. We have crossed them off our list of go-to places and will search for a new greek restaurant.
Really great food at decent prices. I had the gyro with Greek fries, and I would order it again in a heartbeat if I didn't want to try more things on the menu. We will definitely be going back here for the food and the hospitality.
Very nice, friendly place. Delicious Greek food. Good place to come with kids. In addition to Greek dishies, they serve hamburgers, fries, and traditional breakfast. Something for everyone.
My boyfriend said I'm not allowed to review this place because he doesn't want anyone else to discover it. He finished his gyro in 3.5 seconds flat. Food excellent, service fantastic, atmosphere fun. Lemon oregano fries were perfect. Desserts phenomenal.
3rd visit, excellent as always. Best Greek food this side of Athens.Reasonable prices, large menu. No frills atmosphere, but comfortable enough
Tried numerous time over the past three years. Food is spotty, staff is on the cusp of incompetent. After three years, no one recognizes me nor do they even say hello or appreciate the business... Further, my order is often wrong. Find any other place to go as they are not worth spending your time or money!
The food was good and and the portions were large. The staffs were warm and welcoming. It’s a nice and cozy place.
Great food, service, and large portions! Feels authentic
Been looking for a place with a good gyro and this place did not disappoint. I’d definitely come back.
We're not from around here but always try to stop here for gyros when we pass through. Excellent as always. Hummus was delicious too.
Best gyros I have ever had.
Avoid the place! mediocre food, overpriced and the guy working in kitchen was pretty rude. He even pull away menu's from our hand. Avoiding this place in future for sure.
Decent Greek food but they are pretty stingy with the Hummus. $6.99 for a CD sized portion. Chickpeas are about 40 cents a can. Don't be cheap. Back home you'd get a giant styrofoam container full for the same price.
Love this place!!! Have had take out a few times but dined in for the first time today. Great service and excellent food!!!
The food is good but it has to be the most unorganized restaurant. We were told 35 minutes for 2 items. We were there 40 minutes later and still waited 15 minutes. There were only 2 tables there but they only have 1 man at the grill so it takes forever. Tonight was the last time. It’s time to try a new place for Greek food!
Greek Salad w Grilled chicken
Yummy Mediterranean food. Good service.
The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are plentiful! My usual order starts off with a cup of Greek Bean soup and my meal is usually the Chicken Souvlaki platter with a Greek salad and of course I order extra sauce tzatziki!
The food is decent (albeit pricy) but the service is impossibly slow both for dine in and takeout.
Picked up a standard (beef/lamb) gyro and a veggie gyro from here. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. They put the perfect amount of sauce and all the other goodies packed in there. Not too much oil, and everything stayed intact when we chowed down. Def will try the other things they have to offer. Ordering over the phone and pickup were straight forward. Highly recommend!
I went in for a simple gyro to go. That was at 2pm it is now 230pm and I’m still sitting here waiting. There is no line and restaurant is empty. Very poor service and over priced and just to make things more frustrating the gyro is cold. simply disappointing.
For both the vegetarian and carnivore ones belly can find peace. A romantic setting when you sit and take in the ambiance. Try the falafel burger #omg
Was a nice spot food was good ,gyro was donner style ,not the authentic. Also had a small market with greek products
A great place to eat. Food is excellent
Freshly made to order Greek food. Chicken souvlaki, Greek salad, and gyros are our favorites. The desserts are also all homemade, the best baklava I have ever had, the galaktoboureko is a delicious treat as well.
First time here, great food and service. We came with out 25 month old daughter and the staff was warm and welcoming.. and great vegetarian selection!
Food is very good, desserts as well. The atmosphere for dining in is ok. But one area of opportunity for Village Gyro would be the timing for take out. We've done take out several times and while the food is always fresh, hot, and good, it always takes about 50% longer than they say. Plan accordingly and you're all set!
A little on the pricy side for what it is.. BUT I love their Gyro's. Also salads are very good. When we go with the family everyone enjoys the food. Village Gyro is in a small strip mall What is really handy is there is a decent Chineese and Italian place there so we do take out sometimes and everyone can get something different without having to run all over town.
Salads and Gyros awesome. Also try the pork
Food was delicious. I had the grilled octopus. Yummy. Spanakopita was home made. Salads were wonderful, great dressing. All of our meals were wonderful. Owners were delightful.
great food and even better service! staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Great Greek food! Best Hummus my wife and I have ever had and we've been to Greece! Very friendly staff and you can tell they put love into their food. The good can take a bit to be ready but that's because everything is fresh and made to order. Highly recommended!
This place is in easy walk from where I live. I have not visited in years, but I decided to walk there for lunch today. I had to gyro and fries and a cup of coffee. The gyro was as good as anything I've ever had. I've eaten gyro for many years all around the country and this ranks as good as anything I've yet to have. What I liked about the gyro was the freshness of the meat, and the tzatziki sauce. you could definitely taste the tzatziki sauce, but it did not overpower anyting as in other gyros that I've eaten.also, sometimes the little things are very important. I had the regular American coffee and it really was quite good.I would recommend this place for anybody looking for authentic Greek cuisine.
What an amazing restaurant. Great food, friendly staff, interesting atmosphere. Definitely worth a trip- you will NOT be disappointed!
